My wife and I spent years travelling Europe looking for the ideal place to purchase a second home. Over the years, we visited northern Italy a number of times and kept being drawn back. Lake Como is simply the ideal combination of incredible beauty, climate, cultural attractions, food – the list goes on and on.
During the spring of 2024 we decided it was finally time to get serious and look at properties in Lake Como. We connected with Hanna and Pietro purely by chance. How lucky we were. From the first interaction we had with Pietro, he genuinely listened to what our priorities were and only showed us properties that fit those priorities. He spent a lot of time with us explaining the purchase process, closing costs etc. Once we settled on a property, he helped us negotiate with the seller.
Once the deal was made, Hanna stepped in and just made the whole process of finalizing the purchase easy for us. She meticulously explained what was happening with every step, every document. She handled everything so seamlessly, it was actually an easier process than some properties we have purchased in the U.S.
The amazing thing is that after the sale, Hanna and Pietro have gone out of their way to help us with getting settled in our new home – everything from opening a bank account, to helping with the set-up of utility and internet accounts. Pietro is even helping with coordinating some construction work we wanted to have done.
As we said earlier, we are blessed to have met Hanna and Pietro. They are genuine, good people. We highly recommend them.
